CA Ventures is a real estate development company with a long history of working on and around college campuses. The collegiate spirit is central to the culture of the organization and became the genesis of the architectural design.
The office space had small punched windows on three sides making exposure to natural light a premium. The design created a 4th exterior exposure through the construction of a curvilinear living wall. The ultimate environmental wall, patterned campus quad geometries in plant species. The biophilic architecture anchored the coffee quad at the center of the workplace where teams could collaborate, celebrate, and even concentrate. This flexible space allowed CA Ventures many different uses, easily hosting traveling teammates or visitors as well.
